学习与Assessment调适
There are two term examinations each year and a mid-term test is arranged for each term. In order to promote continuous assessment, the result of some project work is counted as part of their examination marks. The student's classroom performance, homework and test results are also considered as components of the subject scores.

Active and self-directed learning is the focal point of our school students. Teachers use different teaching approaches, such as class discussion and interactive e-learning to encourage students to build up the habit of active learning. Furthermore, we arrange activities such as site visits, field trips and leadership training camps in order to widen students' horizons. The school curriculum is tailor-made to suit students' diversities. Committees have been formed to refine the learning materials and develop good learning strategies for students. Collaborative lesson planning and preparation among teachers are highly encouraged in order to explore different ways of motivating students to learn. Information technology is used in daily teaching to enhance learning effectiveness.<br>Chinese and English Reading Schemes are carried out in order to strengthen students' reading habits. Reading periods are arranged for all students.

The Parents-Teacher Association (PTA) was established in 1996. The PTA organizes 6 to 8 activities each year in order to build up a good connection between teachers and parents and promote parent education. The PTA actively participates in school activities, festival activities and offers scholarships to encourage students. It also involves community work so as to serve the public.

Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.

The core members of student support team include Vice Principal, Head of Counselling Team, Special Education Needs Coordinators, Head of Curriculum Development, Educational Psychologist, social works, SEN support teacher and teaching assistants. The school arranges teachers to enroll in integrated education-related courses to enhance the professional competence of teachers. The school uses the Learning Support Grant to outsource different training services and career planning experiences to help students learn and grow.

There are lavatories for the handicapped, ramps and a lift for wheelchair users. 校风
We adopt a whole-school approach to provide pastoral care to our students and every teacher guides and counsels their students enthusiastically. Our school has introduced the Dual Class Teacher Scheme for most classes in order to strengthen the support for students. The PTA also sets up scholarships, charity funds, a teaching development fund and the likes, to support the work of the school.
