启新书院是英基集团内的私立独立学校，学生组成有别于其他国际学校分校，必须招收7成以上香港永居学生。启新的中文主要采用繁体字，可选简体字，因此受香港本地家长欢迎。不同于英基的其他分校，启新的中学阶段采用全IB课程，由于没有IGCSE课程的限制，因此各个年级都可以招收插班生。
2025年IB均分为36.0分，在英基的7所分校中位居第四，在全港国际学校中位居第15名。

Eligibility
- 体育奖学金授予在体育领域表现卓越的 Students。Application 此奖学金的 Students 必须在所选运动中达到很高的水平，该运动需为 RCHK 季节性体育项目中的 Contest 项目。候选人需展示在体育与健康教育及运动项目中的高成就和努力，并对推动和发展 Profile 的体育文化 Yes 承诺。 体育奖学金获得者需参加并协助 Profile 的体育和推广 Activities，如 Contest、奖学金晚会和 Profile 博览会。奖学金获得者应致力于在 ISSFHK 和 HKSSF 联赛中代表 Profile 队伍参加所选运动，并参与如 ACAMIS 等 International Schools 举办的 OverseasContest。如果候选人曾参与第二支 RCHK Black Kites 体育队，将对 Application Yes 所帮助。Y10-Y13Students 可 Application 运动奖学金。
- 视觉艺术奖学金表彰那些展示出卓越艺术作品、具备明显技术熟练度和独特个人美学的Students。Application者需在艺术实践中表现出色，并愿意参与艺术部门的课外Activities。 在校的优秀艺术Students将接触到刺激的环境、多学科的方法，深入理解艺术的历史背景，以及更广泛的职业视角和机会。视觉艺术奖学金获得者预计将在12Grade和13Grade学习视觉艺术Subject。Y10-Y13Students可Application视觉艺术奖学金。

- 学术奖学金每 Year Mar7 日 Deadline。3.17 前给所 Yes Application 奖学金的 Students 发送 Assessment 通知。3.29StartAssessment 学术奖学金的 Application 者。
- 4-May，戏剧、音乐、运动奖学金宣讲会。
- 5-Jun面试所Yes奖学金Application者。
- Jun公布奖学金Application结果。

Y7Enrollment 是每 Year Sep1 日 Start 接受 Application，9.30DeadlineApplication。所 Yes Grade 的插班 Application 都 No Deadline 日期，全 Year 都接受 Application。
英基集团内Queue Application插班启新书院的人数众多，如果错过Y7的Enrollment时间，后续插班能获得面试的机会很低，一般都要等待2-3Year，如果是非港籍Students，获得面试的机会就更低。
启新书院是 Private Independent Profile，港籍 Students 要求达 7 成以上，因此，Hong Kong 永居 Students Application 启新会相对非港籍排队更快。
可以自行选择Simplified Chinese或Traditional Chinese字，Traditional Chinese字是启新书院的主要Chinese Characters，相对Simplified Chinese字Curriculum，Traditional Chinese字Curriculum难度较大。
启新书院由于Yes7成港籍Students的限制，因此校内大多数Students为港籍Students，也是华人面孔居多。
启新在Enrollment时对Students的English水平Yes严格要求，因此Students整体的English水平较高，日常Students交流都是English。
启新书院是英基体系内的热门 Profile，若 Application Primary 低 Grade，由于生源流动小，所以排队时间基本上超过一 Year。
