Application Requirements

Grade: Y1 - Y11
1 Language能力要求
一Grade至二Grade（Y1-2）Application者： Students必须在至少一种Language（Chinese或English）上表现出色，以建立双语基础
二Grade至十一Grade（Y2-Y11）Application者： 需要提供Language的Admission Assessment结果，包括Chinese和English的阅读及Language能力。 数学能力的Assessment结果也是必需的。
2 Students需展示批判性思维和逻辑反应能力，以确保Application者具备积极参与学习的能力，并能为学习社区做出积极贡献。
3 Application者需提供来自之前Profile的参考Materials，例如： 维多利亚幼儿园调查表、Profile报告、Profile推荐信
4 必须要已经 Yes Hong Kong 的签证才会安排笔试/面试，若 No 签证，就会暂停 Application。
5 必须Submit最近两Year的Results单、护照、出生纸等证件的电子版。
6 不能跳级Application，只能Application当前在读Grade的下一个Grade。

Living

Strengths

  • 黄竹坑地铁站附近的Estate都可以Walking上学，Walking时间都在15分钟以内。这些Estate包括黄竹坑地铁站上盖的晋环、扬海、海盈山和深湾九号。另外附近的一些较旧的Estate，如雅涛阁、南涛阁、金宝花园，属于政府居屋。
  • 鸭脷洲的南湾、Southern District 左岸、深湾轩，以及海怡半岛，都是到 Profile Compare 近，打车也是 50 元以内可以到达。

Neutral

  • 薄扶林、跑马地、Wan Chai 等区域都是 Yes School Bus 到达，Commute Time 一般也在 30 分钟以内，也是 Compare 合适的居住区域。
  • Eastern District、Central & Western District 离 Profile Distance 相对较远，但也 Yes School Bus 点到达。

Weaknesses

  • Kowloon 除了奥运和 Kowloon 站以外，Other 地区都 No School Bus 到达，如果自行坐交通工具上学也不太方便，黄竹坑站 Distance Profile Walking 至少 18 分钟。
  • Kowloon和New Territories地区的Students，只能自行安排Commute，Profile只给予多个Students共乘的车辆以停车卡，才能进Enrollment校接送。

FAQ

Profile 会预先审核 Application Reference，审核通过才会给予面试/笔试机会，大部分 Application 人只要不是太迟 Application，会给面试机会的。
Admissions表中Yes选项让家长选择Simplified Chinese字或者Traditional Chinese字班，也可以两者皆可。
VSA 的学术 Curriculum 是按照 IBPYP 的要求排课，Yes UOI 这样的探索 Curriculum，Primary Stage 的 Curriculum 主要 Yes 中英两个班主任教授，只 Yes 体育、音乐这样的 Curriculum Yes 专门的老师教授。Secondary 的 Curriculum 都是专科老师专教。
No 期中期末考试，但每学期都 Yes 一次 Chinese DACC 测试和 MAP 测试，用于考察 Students 的学习情况。
一般一个月内通知。
Primary考中English Writing和数学试卷答题，Secondary考MAP和中English Writing。
Yes一对一面试，也Yes小组面试。
插班难度大，每个Grade一般也不会超过10%的空缺率，名额Compare少，择优Offers。需要中英数都达到优秀Results的水平。
