Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Selection criteria: <br>a) Academic results (School Exam and Rank order list provided by EDB) 40%; <br>b) Conduct 10%; <br>c) Performance in interview 35%;<br>d) Performance in Extra-curricular Activities / Prizes / Services 15%

There are two uniform tests and exams each year. Students' overall academic performance is assessed through daily marks, uniform tests and examinations. Daily marks comprise assignments, quizzes and performance in lessons. We stipulate that each uniform test or exam paper consists of 30% high-order thinking questions.

Our school encourages whole-person development and helps students develop their potentials. Every year, each subject sets the teaching plan, tailors and revises the curriculum based on students' ability. Our teachers have high expectations of students and are willing to shoulder responsibilities, so they adopt different pedagogical methods to ensure students learn effectively. The strategies include:<br>1. Emphasis on perseverance in learning; <br>2. Emphasis on self-directed learning including lesson preparation and extended activity;<br>3. Emphasis on high-order thinking and require students to think in multiple perspectives;<br>4. Enhancement of English learning environment by employing more English teachers;<br>5. To promote STEAM education, cross-curricular project is promoted among science subjects; <br>6. Chinese/English extensive reading schemes; <br>7. Publication of Chinese Anthology, English Anthology and School Magazine;<br>8. Project-based learning to train students' generic skills; <br>9. Small group teaching; and <br>10. Promote e-learning by "Bring Your Own Device"(BYOD) scheme to enhance students' self-learning ability.

In the past years, parents have worked closely with the school. Since 2007, parent has been a member of the IMC, assisting with the policy formulation and management of the school. Parents' active participation has been a propelling and supporting force of school improvement.

Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.

Our student support team includes Special Educational Needs Coordinator and Special Educational Needs Support Teachers. SENCO leads the student support team and assists the school Principal and the Vice-Principals in planning, coordinating and implementing the Whole School Approach to Integrated Education in order to further cultivate an inclusive school culture and enhance the effectiveness of the support given to students with special educational needs. We arrange SEN support teachers to take responsibilities for teaching and co-teaching those students which have different educational needs. We also help to design teaching materials to facilitate learning for students. We assist students with special educational needs by the measures including the adjustment in teaching and assessments, peer counselling, social skills training workshops and speech therapy etc. We arrange regular meetings with class teachers, latest update and close communication between class teachers and parents and home-school cooperation to cater for students' diverse needs. We give Summary of Support of Student to parents to let them know how we support their children by means.

Streaming; small-class teaching in Chinese, English and Mathematics; after-school enrichment and remedial courses; after-school tutorial classes for S.5 to S.6 to strengthen their capacity to cope with exams so as to raise academic achievement. The school advocates whole-school participation so the discipline and counseling teams cooperate together in nurturing students' overall development. We also aim to create a caring and harmonious campus culture and help students establish good relationships between: student-student and teacher-student respectively. With the policy of allocating two class teachers to each class, we hope to provide better caring for our students.

Established

The incorporated Management Committee of our school was established in 2007. It is formed by representatives of school sponsoring bodies, Principal, teachers, parents, Alumni and an independent person.

Our school continues to place emphasis on strengthening moral education and intellectual development while catering for students' needs and self-development. We also aim to help students maximize their potential. The school's approach is to promote gifted children and cater for student diversity, so we adopt methods to enhance the intellectual potential of the more capable students and catering for wide learning diversity. A information system has been set up to record personal information, interests, strengths and achievement of individuals for the purpose of encouraging continuous learning among students.

We uphold a modest and sincere school ethos, committed to nurturing students into young individuals of strong character and cultural refinement. Through discipline, counseling, moral, civic, and health education, we foster self-discipline and help students build positive values and attitudes towards life. We place strong emphasis on supporting every student in need, striving to ensure their personal development and academic achievement meet the expectations of society.<br><br>To support students’ growth and learning needs, our school library remains open until 8:00 p.m. on every school day, providing a safe and quiet environment for study and revision.

With the purpose of exercising our motto, "Exercise Fraternity and Benevolence; Practice Kindness and Virtuous Deeds", we provide quality education which emphasizes students' moral, cognitive, physical, social and aesthetic development. In the meantime, we are committed to nurturing students’ moral development and enhancing academic achievements in terms of strengthening their self-learning ability, broadening international outlook, taking on responsibilities and the correct attitude of tolerating lifelong hardships so as to equip them to be morally and culturally intellectuals who serve the HKSAR and the mother country.

Exercise Fraternity and Benevolence; Practise Kindness and Virtuous Deeds.

Our school is located next to Shing Mun Valley. With such a tranquil environment full of fresh air, we educate our students to practice conserving the environment by turning on the air-conditioners only when the temperature reaches 26°C; or 25°C with the humidity level of 90% or above; or 24°C with the humidity level of 95% or above. We implement waste separation in our school campus in order to promote environmental protection.
