Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).Academic performance (30%), Conduct (25%), Extra-curricular activities (15%), Interview performance (30%).

Various types of assessments are implemented. Regular tests, assignments, oral reports, experimenting activities and project learning are included to assess the overall academic performances of students. Students can track their learning progress clearly. To consolidate students’ learning outcome, 2 uniform tests and 2 examinations per year are arranged. Post examination evaluation days are arranged to provide feedback for students, review learning and teaching effectiveness and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Our school adopts competence-based class grouping policy to reduce learner diversity within classes. This policy is also an effective way for teachers to adapt the curriculum, design appropriate assignments to consolidate students’ learning and teaching effectiveness.

A student-centered approach is adopted as our school prioritises students' abilities and interests to boost their academic achievements. The junior form curriculum caters students’ diverse needs. After-school tutoring support is provided as one of the support strategies in differential teaching, to maximise student’s potential. The school offers various subjects in senior forms, including Applied Learning, to cater different learning interests. Extensive Reading programs are promoted to foster a love for reading and enhancement in language abilities. Reading reward coupons are rewarded to students for them to redeem their favourite books during school book fairs. BYOD is promoted to enhance teaching and learning effectiveness through technology, fostering inter-class interaction, self-directed learning, development of problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

The school has developed a partnership with parents in trust and openness. In order to let parents understand more about the learning situations of their children, they are encouraged to participate in the School's administration. The school organises various kinds of forums, including S.1 new students and parents' orientation day, PTA Annual General Meeting and breakfast meetings with the principal. To coordinate with the development of Other Learning Experiences (OLE), a number of diversified activities are organised for parents and students. For example, family day trips, Christmas gathering, educational talks, and different types of interest courses and workshops. Apart from giving out scholarships and financing students' extra-curricular activities, the PTA also prepares cards and gifts for teachers during Teachers' Week. Furthermore, a volunteer team is set up by the PTA to organise charity events and assist school functions.

Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; developing school-based Chinese Language curriculum and/or adapting learning and teaching materials; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.

The school provides various support and services to foster an inclusive and harmonious campus culture. External services, including speech therapy and social training groups, are available to meet diverse student needs. The Student Support Team, consisting of a Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), trained teachers, educational psychologist and social workers, collaborates with frontline teachers to enhance teaching standards to tiered support students. We employ a school-based approach with flexible resource allocation to support students with special educational needs. Core subject teachers adopt differential teaching strategies, emphasise and consolidate key teaching points to tiered support students, consolidating their foundations. Home-school cooperation is highly valued, with counseling teachers maintaining close communication with parents to understand students' needs. We offer adaptation courses for new students, conduct parent workshops to exchange educational ideas and gather feedback.

A speech therapy group supports students with language difficulties.<br>2. A social skills group enhances students’ interpersonal abilities.<br>3. Multiple on-site social workers provide counselling services and organise guidance activities.<br>4.
