There are altogether one uniform test and two examinations throughout the years, and continuous assessments weigh approximately 15% - 40% of the subject grade. School-based assessments are adopted in junior secondary classes, so students are evaluated through various activities & continuous assessment so as to relieve examination pressure. Special Arrangements are granted to SEN Students in tests and examinations.

Our school provides a diversified curriculum catering students with different ability and aspirations. Apart from our regular curriculum, our school also provide different Applied Learning & Qualification Framework Courses, widening our students' future academic and career path. Students are divided into small learning groups based on their learning needs in core subjects such as Chinese, English and Mathematics, in order to serve both remedial and enhancement purposes. Our school also seeks external professional support in offering professional training to our teachers, equipping teachers' teaching techniques and skills for the Senior Secondary Curriculum. Collaborative, Peer Lesson Planning and a Gradual development of quality homework are some of the key concerns for such enhancement of teaching development.

Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school. Our school has developed a series of tailored curriculum in accordance with the Chinese proficiency level of NCS students. An internal assessment tool specially designed for NCS students will be used to determine their levels. They will then be divided into four learning groups:
1. Adaptation; 2. Fundamental Chinese; 3. Transition to Local Chinese Course; 4. Enrichment Chinese.

Our school is experienced with taking care of SEN students. The Learning Support Team comprises SENCO, SEN Teachers, Teaching Assistants, Social Workers and Educational Psychologist. The 'Positive Chamber' is established to providing a comfortable learning environment for SEN students.
A "whole-school approach" is adopted to support students with special education needs. In order to provide students with appropriate support, LSG is used for outsourcing speech therapy, occupational therapy. Moreover, reading and writing training for SEN students, social skills training for students with autism, concentration skills for ADHD students.
Information on SEN students will regularly be released to all teaching staff. Teachers review teaching progress and adapt curriculum through collaborative lesson planning. Special arrangements have been made, such as extended examination time, special examination venue & screen reader.

Our school adopts a whole-school approach to comprehensively care for students' physical, mental, and spiritual health and growth. Each form has a dual class teacher system. Through various groups under the Student Support Committee, including training from multiple uniformed groups, counseling support, growth groups, career life planning, and cross-departmental collaboration within the school, we assist students in establishing a disciplined and healthy lifestyle, thereby enhancing their self-care abilities and resilience.
Our school's "Student Multi-Development Group" has also established clear strategies to implement “After-School Autonomous Learning Classes” for junior secondary levels, aiming to discover and cultivate students' diverse talents, achieving excellence in nurturing and creating outstanding individuals.

Our school, guided by the school motto “Loyalty, Diligence, Simplicity, Reverence for God, and Love for Others,” has established a school culture of "Strictness with Love, Courtesy, and Discipline." Through the dual class teacher system and class management, we foster a friendly and supportive class atmosphere. The school emphasizes service learning, with activities such as "Community Service Experience Day" and the establishment of the CSJ Care Team, which regularly engages in community service. Our students have accumulated outstanding volunteer service hours and have received various volunteer service awards and school team awards from different organizations.

In the first grade, we implement comprehensive scout training to enhance students’ sense of discipline and law-abiding behavior. Additionally, the flag-raising team, Immigration Department Youth Leaders Corps, Fire and Ambulance Services Teams, and Junior Police Call effectively cultivate students' virtues of simplicity and self-discipline.
