Our school will accept discretionary places. Our school will participate in the Secondary School Places Allocation System through central allocation stage (Applicable for admission to S.1 in September 2026 ).The Secondary One Discretionary Places admission criteria and weighting are as follows:
Academic performance (40%), Conduct and Extra-curricular Activities (30%), Interview Performance (30%).

To arouse students' interest in reading and to promote an extensive reading culture, all students are required to participate in the Morning Reading Scheme with a reward scheme for lower form students. To promote a culture of self-directed learning, F1 to F5 are provided with a "Self-learning Journal" and there is also a Pak Sha academic learning channel.

Our School is committed to working cooperatively with Parent-Teacher Association. Various festive celebrations, excursions are organized to bridge the gap among parents, teachers and students for fostering strong parent-teacher communication.

Our school provides additional support for NCS students to facilitate their learning of Chinese: providing after-school support programmes in learning Chinese; appointing additional teacher(s)/teaching assistant(s) to support NCS students’ learning of Chinese; arranging intensive Chinese learning and teaching mode(s), e.g. pull-out learning if necessary, split-class/group learning, etc.; and organising activities to create an inclusive learning environment in the school.

The main members of the Student Support Group include the Vice-Principal, the IC of Academic Affairs, the IC of Guidance, the Special Education Needs Coordinator, the social worker and the educational psychologist. The school uses the Learning Support Grant to outsource professional services including speech therapy, attention groups, Chinese and English reading and writing skills improvement groups, and social training groups for students with autism. The school regularly distributes information on supporting students with special educational needs to all teachers. Teachers prepare lessons together, adjust the curriculum content, and review students' learning progress. Our school provides appropriate exam adjustments, such as extra time, arranging special examination rooms, and using screen readers. Our school organizes different types of inclusive activities to promote a culture of inclusion on campus, such as the Angel Companion Program. In addition, the school provides relevant learning support information for students with special educational needs and collects parental opinions to promote communication and cooperation between home and school.
