沙田书院是英基教育集团中成绩最好的分校，也是入学排队人数最多，最难进的分校。Y7-Y9采用IBMYP课程，Y10-Y11采用IGCSE课程，Y12-Y13为IBDP课程。这个课程体系比较好地结合了IBMYP和IGCSE的课程优点，兼顾了学术和IB需要的实验操作和论文写作能力。
2025年IB均分为37.2分，在英基的7所分校中位居第二，仅次于西岛中学的37.3分，在全港国际学校中位居第11名。

Y7Enrollment 是每 Year Sep1 日 Start 接受 Application，9.30DeadlineApplication。所 Yes Grade 的插班 Application 都 No Deadline 日期，全 Year 都接受 Application。
Sha Tin书院是英基集团内最多人Queue Application的Secondary，如果错过Y7的Enrollment时间，后续插班能获得面试的机会很低，一般都要等待2-3Year，如果是港籍Students，获得面试的机会就更低。
